About Library:
Shrimant Vijaysinhraje Dafale Library is one of the leading college libraries in Jath Tahasil. The library has established in the year 1969 with the college established. The old building of the library was very small area but the new building established in the year 2001. The college library was named after his highness Late Shrimant Vijaysinhraje Dafale in January 2001, who was the son of Shrimant Raje Ramrao Dafale. |

"To give maximum information, maximum number of times by maximum possible ways in Minimum Time." |
Purpose:
The purpose of a library is to freely disseminate knowledge. Our library is therefore operated on a need-based approach rather than the usual rules-based treatment given to students everywhere. We allow open access to the collection and encourage students to browse through the stacks. |
Objective:

• Optimum utilization of existing resources
• Adding to readership number every year.
• Enhancing reading habit in students and staff
• Promote library as a vibrant learning unit
• Promoting use of ICT
• To spread awareness of e-resources amongst the readers

Future Plans:
I. To start Library Automation as early as possible.
II. To provide OPAC facility to all the faculty members and students.
III. To make Institutional Repository of our library.
IV. To establish network with other colleges and University Library.
V. Addition of more competitive career oriented books and magazines |
