  Academic Year: 2018 – 19

   1.  An International MoU signed between Raje Ramrao Mahavidyalaya, Jath, India and Henan University, Kaifeng, China for faculty exchange and research collaboration (December 2018).

   2.  Dr. Sanjay S. Latthe got selected as Visiting Professor at Henan University, Kaifeng, China during 17th September 2018 to 11th November 2018.

   3.  Dr. Sanjay S. Latthe got selected as Visiting Professor at Henan University, Kaifeng, China during 03rd May 2019 to 17th July 2019.

   4.  Dr. Sanjay S. Latthe and Three students Miss. Mayuri Sutar (M.Sc.), Miss. Varsha Patil (M.Sc.), and Mr. Chandrakant Barakade (B.Sc.) of Dept. of Physics, Raje Ramrao Mahavidyalaya, Jath visited Tokyo University of Science, Noda, Japan during 10th June 2018 – 30th June 2018 through “Japan-Asia Youth Exchange Program in Science” (Sakura Exchange Program in Science) administered by Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), Japan.

   5.  Hosted Mr. Anock Somadder, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet-3114, Bangladesh for 03 months (March – May 2018) to carry out the research project in research laboratory through funding by India Science and Research Fellowship (ISRF) Programme (2017-2018), Centre for International Co-operation in Science (CICS) / Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India.

   6.  Guest Lecture by Dr. Sanjay S. Latthe on “Superhydrophobic surfaces for self – cleaning and oil – water separation applications” on 12th June 2018 at Photocatalysis International Research Center (PIRC), Tokyo University of Science, Noda, Japan.

   7.  One of the M.Sc. – I students, Miss. Pratiksha B. Patil has ranked first in the University Examination of Shivaji University, Kolhapur (May 2019).

   8.  Miss. Pooja Koli (M.Sc.: 2018 – 19 Batch) and Mr. Chandrakant Barakade (B.Sc.: 2018 – 19 Batch) got awarded by Japanese Fujishima – Terashima Award for securing highest number of marks in B.Sc. and M.Sc. (Physics).

   3.  Dr. Sanjay S. Latthe received “Recognition as Research Guide for M.Phil. Ph.D. (Physics)” by Shivaji University, Kolhapur on 03rd September 2019.

   4.  Invited Talk by Dr. Sanjay S. Latthe on “Superhydrophobic Coating on Various Substrates for Self-cleaning Applications” in the One Day State Level Seminar on “Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology” organized by Department of Physics, Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil Mahavidyalaya, Pandharpur, Maharashtra, India on 04th February 2020.

   5.  Invited Talk by Dr. Sanjay S.    6.  Invited Talk by Dr. Sanjay S. Latthe on “Silica based Superhydrophobic Surfaces for Self – cleaning  Applications” in The First Chemistry International Summer Camp of Henan University organized by Henan University, China during 12th – 13th July 2019.

   7.  Dr. Sanjay S. Latthe worked as Guest Editor of “Macromolecular Symposia (A special issue for ICAMS - 2018)” volume 387, issue 1 (ISSN: 1521-3900) published by WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim (October 2019). 

   8.  Dr. Sanjay S. Latthe received an award as “Most Active Participant Award (Second Prize)” in Second International Twitter Conference #NanoBio20 organized by the New College, Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India during 13th – 15thApril 2020.

   9.  Two students Miss. Rutuja Ekunde and Miss. Supriya Hipparagi (B.Sc.-III) were participated in District Level Avishkar Research Convention held at Balwant College, Vita on 06th January 2020.

   10.  The 04 research groups from the college were participated in the National Level Innovative Research Idea Competition of Vivekanand Mahotsav 2020: Shodh Chaitanyacha organized by Vivekanand College, Kolhapur on 31st January 2020 and a group of Miss. Rutuja Ekunde and Miss. Ashwini Patil (B.Sc.-III, Physics) won Second Prize.

   11.  M.Sc.-II student, Miss. Manisha S. Mane has earned Best Poster Presentation Award in the Fourth International Conference on Advances in Materials Science organized by Department of Physics, Raje Ramrao Mahavidyalaya, Jath during 20 – 21 January 2020.

 

 Academic Year: 2020 – 21

   1.  An International Research Project was sanctioned to Dr. Sanjay S. Latthe for the research proposal of “Durable and Scalable Superhydrophobic Membranes for Efficient Oil-Water Separation” by National Natural Science Foundation of China, (Project approval number: 21950410531) during the year 2020-2021 of Rs. 20, 00,000/-.  

   2.  Dr. Sanjay S. Latthe received “Outstanding Scientist Award” in 9th International Scientist Awards on Engineering, Science and Medicine at Trichy, Tamilnadu, India during 12th – 13th September 2020 organized by VDGOOD Professional Association, India.  

   3.  Qatar University, Qatar has paid donation of worth Rs. 8500/- for CHB staff and M.Sc. (Physics) students for the payment of registration fee of Sixth International Conference on Advances in Materials Science (ICAMS-2021) through the research collaboration between Department of Physics, Raje Ramrao Mahavidyalaya, Jath, India and Qatar University, Qatar on Wednesday, 03rd March 2021.

   4.  Dr. A. K. Bhosale received “Outstanding Scientist Award” in the 09th International Scientist Awards on Engineering Science and Medicine held on 10th – 11th April 2021 at Bangalore, Karnataka, India organized by VDGOOD Professional Association.

   5.  Invited Lecture by Dr. Sanjay S. Latthe on “Superhydrophobic Coating on Various Substrates for Self-Cleaning Application” organized by Special E-Conference on “Materials of the Future: Smart Applications in Science and Engineering” organized by Emergent Materials Journal, Center for Advanced Materials (CAM) & Biomedical Research Laboratory (BRC), Qatar University, Qatar during 29th – 31st March 2021.

   6.  Invited Talk by Dr. Sanjay S. Latthe on “Superhydrophobic Surfaces for Self – cleaning Applications” in National Webinar on Industrial Nanotechnology organized by Yashavantrao Chavan Institute of Science, Satara, Maharashtra, India on Saturday, 20th March 2021. 

   7.  Invited Talk by Dr. Sanjay S. Latthe on “Modern Technologies in 21st Century” on the eve of National Science Day organized by Padmabhushan Vasantraodada Patil Mahavidyalaya, Kavathe Mahankal, Maharashtra, India on Thursday, 25th February 2021.

   8.  Invited Lecture by Dr. Sanjay S. Latthe in “Refresher Course in Basic Sciences” held during 21st December 2020 to 02nd January 2021 organized by UGC–Human Resource Development Centre, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati, Maharashtra, India on Friday, 01st January 2021.
